Easter at Larkhall Baptist Church

We love Easter at LBC! We love to gather together and celebrate the resurrection of Jesus - the moment that changed everything, when death was defeated and new life was made possible for all of us. We’d love for you to come and share the joy with us this Easter, as we celebrate and explore how the message of Jesus brings real hope, renewal, and life far beyond the chocolate eggs and spring celebrations.

Sunday Mornings

The Crown: A King and His Kingdom

The Bible promises that a King would come. It promises that he would change everything! Jesus was that King. And he absolutely did change everything. But not in the way we might've expected. This Easter, we're following Jesus' journey from long-awaited King to crucified Saviour to risen Lord. And as we do so, we'll discover what His Kingdom means for our lives today.

Monday 30th March 7:00pm

The King we Choose

From the beginning, people have struggled with God as King, often preferring leaders who look powerful and easy to follow. This Holy Week we explore the surprising King God sent in Jesus - and why His kingdom might be exactly what our world needs.

The Shepherd King - All-Age

When leaders failed to care for God’s people, God promised He would come Himself to rescue His sheep. Join us for our all-age reflection as we discover how Jesus fulfills that promise as the Shepherd King who brings hope, healing, and restoration.

Wednesday 1st April

The Stone the Builders Rejected

What if the one the world rejects is the one God chooses to build everything on? We'll explore how

Jesus - the rejected King - became the foundation of a kingdom that cannot be shaken.

Thursday 2nd April

The Covenant King (with Communion)

At the Last Supper, Jesus revealed how he would change everything. We'll take the time to remember the King whose kingdom is built on a greater sacrifice, a better love and faithful promise than we could ever imagine. We'll share communion as part of this.

Friday 3rd April (Good Friday)

The Suffering King

On Good Friday we remember the moment when Jesus, the King, chose suffering for our sake. Good Friday invites us to pause at the cross and reflect on the depth of God’s love. What looks like tragedy becomes the moment where Jesus, the King, gives His life to bring hope.
